I have always been interested in learning NGS data analysis since it can be a powerful tool to study cellular expression profiles, genome signatures and their interactions. NGS data is used to approach problems holistically rather than the conventional reductionist approach which is opening newer insights to scientific questions. I have my masters in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from IBAB. I had joined Eminent Biosciences last november in 2016 for learning analysis on real time NGS data funded by BCIL. Eminent Biosciences offers a challenging environment for students to hone their skills in programming languages like Python, R, Perl which is key to handling enormous data , to posit the right questions and utilise the NGS tools efficiently. Dr. Anuraj Nayariserri is an erudite and skillful mentor who have taught and motivated me to employ my skills and analyse the data using requisite methods. I am currently working in NCBS and i find the training purposeful and beneficial for my current endeavours, i am employing many skills i learnt at Eminent Biosciences. I would recommend to everyone who is passionate about NGS data analysis to apply at Eminent Biosciences for gaining skills pertinent in the field.
